They didn’t say this to punish each other, they only wanted to prove “I’m damned serious about it!Β I mean it!!Β I can never leave you!!! “.Β
But the man would always break promises someday, somehow.
Covenants are like CROSS signs. (i.e vertical & horizontal).

Whichever way, there’s always an invisible & undying witness in every act of covenant or oath, which makes consequences follow even after generations pass. God is aware of this, Satan is even hyperactive about it, always wanting a man to break promises
The young man travels abroad to continue his studies. He was so dedicated to his studies, showing off in his good grades. His love for his studies does stop him from the love of his life back in his home country., they kept in touch as much as they can. Is this a result of their true love or the oath that binds them? Well, I do not know, but distance did not affect the relationship.
one year down the line, a new reality set in when the young man was calling his girlfriend, but she was neither picking up the calls nor returning them. This continued for two consecutive days. A lot of thoughts started running through his mind, “why is she ignoring my call?” Is she in love with someone else? “No, our love is real”, he quickly answered.Β “Is she tired of the distance? No, “she made me take an oath for the fear of distance”, the second answer came more quickly
His fear worsened when he could not reach her on phone on the 3rd day and for one more week…….
