John forced a smile.

But Daniel wasn’t convinced.

“You don’t look fine.”
John hesitated.
Then finally spoke.
🗣 John:
“She’s pregnant.”
Daniel’s face changed instantly.
🗣 Daniel:
“Wait… what?”

“Another man.”
Silence.
Then Daniel shook his head slowly.
🗣 Daniel:
“Man… forget her.”
Those two words landed differently.
Forget her.
