“My love, you don’t know how much I have missed you, I thought you were dead, I have been waiting for you all my life”. He said to this extremely pretty young lady.Β
“I have missed you too”, she responded! “I have also been waiting for you all these years”.
“Our Love is destined to be together and forever. Maybe that was why I could not get another woman despite I was told that you were dead”. His eyes were full of tears as he muttered those words with deep emotion.
“May be dear”, as she smiles, walks up to him and hugs him.
“We are stuck together for life”, she whispers to his ear, as the smile soon becomes a scorn laughter.
He worried within himself, “what is funny, why this laughter while I am crying, does she not miss me the way I do?”
He was brought back from the midst of his thoughts when she responded orally to everything he was thinking about; “of course I miss you, I miss you than the way you miss me. That is why I never let you go all these years; you are never away from my sight. That was why I scared all those rivals away”.
“I can do anything for you, I can kill for you, I could have killed all those ladies should they not leave you when I warned them”.
In great fear, mixed with shock, he pulls himself from her. “How do you know what I was thinking?”, he asks
“Because I am part of you”, she replies
“Part of me? Are you not my lover whom I thought was dead?”. He demands further.
She smiles for a very long time.
With tears on his face, “who are you?”, he asked a little louder this time.
The smile on her face soon changed to a frank look, and the beautiful lady changed to a very scary looking being.
“I am OUR OATH“, she replies
