Time did not stop.
But healing never came.

life moved on.
Amara got married.

But it was clear.

Amara woke up instantly.
Gasping.
Sweating.
Her heart racing violently.

She held her chest tightly.
Trying to breathe.

Same darkness.
Same baby.
