DIFFERENT LEVELS OF TWOS

Somebody asked about tested and trusted birth control options on an IG post and as I scrolled through the comments, one comment stood out for me.
She said prayer was her contraceptive. The pharmacist in me was already judging her ![]()

. She explained further that she and her husband always joined hands to pray and let God know that this one we want to do is to conceive and when it’s only for pleasure, they tell God as well.
According to her, this has not failed and they’ve been married for many years. Her MIL also used the prayer method all through her child bearing years. Am I recommending this method? My answer: There are different levels of faith.
But what I want to point your attention to is the power of agreeing in prayers with your spouse.
More often than not, when we are encouraged to have prayer partners we tend to search outside which is not bad in itself. However, I feel you may be doing yourself a disfavour if you don’t also pray with your spouse.
What I’m talking about is beyond the generic morning and evening devotions to fulfill all righteousness. I’m talking about you both agreeing to the T about something and bringing it before God to insist that there shall be a performance!
It’s Biblical! The Bible truly says if two shall agree concerning a thing on earth according to God’s will, it will be done unto us! But there are different levels of twos!
There is a two that agrees and it’s done, then there is an even greater two that agrees and it commands a ripple effect to the levels of ten thousands!
It’s not all in praying hard, pray smart by applying Biblical principles to your advantage! May your marriage be blessed!
P.S: The time stamp from this picture was from February 2022. That was Hallelujah challenge. King D and I agreed in prayers and dressed like Obodo oyinbo people
and I actually had clothes in my stomach too. God showed us mercy. Pls be more intentional about praying with your spouse, it carries great power and it commands answers!!!
