TRUST PATTERNS, NOT APOLOGIES
I’ll be brief but I hope someone gets this message once and for all.
Apologies are such a great way to melt a hurting heart. They make you agree that of course, we are humans and imperfect. Add being a Christian on top of that and God’s command for us to forgive one another sure leaves us with no choice really.
Singles, Apologies are great but look beyond them! Trust patterns, not apologies. Repetitive offenses with regular top-notch apologies won’t cut it.
They are not as sorry as you think especially because they know that they may have hacked the apology code and would get you to forgive them each time.
Yes, we have to extend grace to others! But it is wisdom to recognize when it has become a pattern and at that point, you may need more than an apology. See clearly the handwriting on the wall and make a wise decision.
May the Lord be your guide
Good morning and have a blessed day!
