HAPPY BIRTHDAY @OLABISI DAVID & HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO US- The only love of my only life.
My stories keep sounding like either or both of us are MUMU in love and I think this is one of our secrets. (RISK ENCAPSULATED IN TRUST).
When we first got married, @Olabisi David’s salary was almost double my salary. In a house where expenses were be taken of smoothly, I am sure you all know what that means
At a point, I started feeling guilty that I was abusing your right to make personal progress (COS YOU WOULD HAND OVER ALL YOUR SALARY TO ME EVERY MONTH AS YOU WERE GETTING HOME – WHICH WAS ALWAYS PAID TO YOU IN CASH), then I would start apportioning them back to you as if I worked for them.
Things have changed in terms of money-making, and that is one of the reasons why I wouldn’t hold back to spend or give my last at every opportunity I get (either I am momentarily buoyant in finance or not)
In a world when men are losing trust from their wives, a world of high competition between men and women, in a world where many couples can’t even run a joint account. I HAVE A WIFE WHO WOULD EVEN SOMETIMES KNEE DOWN TO HAND OVER HER SALARY TO ME.
Not because she was a fool, not because she was choice-less, not because I demanded. But she understood the present situation & she saw a man she could trust with such sacrifice.
BABY, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WORTHILY REPAY YOU, BUT I WILL KEEP UP TO MY PROMISE PER EVERY OPPORTUNITY I GET.
Concluding my chronicles of my wife this year, Ladies & gentlemen, help me appreciate her rare effort and make this birthday celebration of her special
NOTE: I believe a lot of women are willing to support & sacrifice for their husbands, but most men haven’t built an environment for trust and confidence around their wives.
It is easy for a woman to go all the way for the man she loves if the man is worth taking such risk for.
